Developed a short-horizon forecasting workflow for staple food prices by combining FEWS NET, WFP, FAO, climate (CHIRPS) and conflict (ACLED) data. Automated the ETL pipeline and exposed forecasts in a Streamlit dashboard.

Intimate partner violence screening<br>South Africa

Designed and maintained a data processing and analysis pipeline for an IPV screening tool implemented in two public hospitals in South Africa. The system processes data quarterly (≈35,000 women screened to date) and supports decision-making on service referrals and violence trends.

Client: Groote Schuur Hospital Trust. The screening tool won the GEMS Health Award at the 2024 Centre for Public Service Innovation Awards.

Predicting adolescent pregnancy
Uganda

Built models on Global Fund data merged with demographic and service variables to identify determinants and risk factors for adolescent pregnancy (10–14). Findings inform UNICEF Uganda policy and programming and feed into an academic paper in progress.

Contributed to a flagship evaluation of UNHCR’s largest-ever emergency response across Poland, Moldova, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, with a focus on protection, cash and coordination outcomes.
